ABOUT MY FINE ART PRINTS
Every colour-perfect Giclée fine art print is printed using the very latest technology. Featuring 11 inks, 2880 x 1440 DPI higher dot per square inch and CMYK colour model. The museum-grade archival art paper is hand-picked, highly textured and carries the highest age resistance currently available (archival life of 80 years.)
The super matte finish of Hahnemüle Photorag has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients. Weighing 308gsm, acid and lignin free, the paper conforms to ISO 9706 standards and ICC-profiles. There is no white border on the prints. The prints have a delicate surface and extra care must be taken when handling. Photorag is suitable for mounting but its cotton texture means edges can fray if not carefully handled. I recommend the use of gloves throughout the handling process.
Larger prints are carefully wrapped, rolled and secured in heavy-duty tubes to protect the prints in transit. To flatten the prints after arrival, I recommend carefully placing them (with their protective paper still in place) between heavy flat blocks / surface for several days until your prints are flat again.
To showcase the print and protect your investment, I recommend having them professionally framed in UV Non-Reflective Acrylic Glass. Ideally, 2.5mm thick acrylic glass that provides both 99% UV resistance and a reduction in glare and reflections through a matte coating on the acrylic glass.
ABOUT MY HANDMADE NATURAL FIBRE BAGS
My handmade woven bohemian bags embody the things I love about slow living. From the easy going simplicity, the subtle minimalism, right down to the lovely earthy colours and textures. Every bag is hand crafted from natural raw fibres that have been hand spun and hand dyed by artisans supported by the Fair Trade Organisation. Each twine or rope is sustainably produced, 100% natural and only natural vegetable dyes are used. Each bag is a limited edition and no 2 bags are similar. Unless otherwise, indicated, all the leather straps are made from vegan faux leather. If a leather strap is used, it will be clearly indicated and only made from salvaged leather scraps that is being repurposed into a bag handle. JUTE VS HEMP
~ Jute is light brown in colour. Hemp is off white in colour with grey undertones.
~ The Jute I use is thicker than the Hemp. The Jute yarn is about 6mm thick and the Hemp is 4 – 5mm.
~ The Hemp is very dense. It is about twice the weight of the Jute. So while the Hemp thread is thinner than the Jute thread, the Jute compresses more and will become “flatter” so to speak.
~ The Hemp has a more “premium” feel to the yarn given its density. While it will stretch beautifully with time, it holds its shape very well. Jute is softer in comparison to hemp and will stretch a little more in time to give it a lovely slouchy look.
~ The Hemp has a “grassy” scent while the Jute has a “strawy” scent.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HANDBAG
~ All the Boho Bags are made from 100% natural fibres like hemp, jute, flaxen or strong. As such they are very easy to care for. If it gets dirty, just wipe the area clean with some warm soapy water and allow it to air dry naturally.
~ If the bag gets wet, please hang it up and allow to air dry naturally.
~ Never place the bag in the washing machine or dryer.
~ When not in use, I recommend hanging the bag up to “breathe” in the natural air and to maintain it’s natural shape.
~ Please note that given the nature of natural fibres, the bag will take on a softer and slouchier appearance with time.

~ PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY MUST BE TO A PHYSICAL ADDRESS. DELIVERY CANNOT BE MADE TO A P O BOX.
~ All bags are sent out in the standard Australia Post satchels within Australia and transit time on the standard regular satchel is 7 to 10 working days. For international orders, items are sent out on the standard international service and transit time is 15 to 20 working days. Please note any overseas taxes and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
~ As every bag is custom made, exchanges and cancellations are not accepted. However, if you have any problems with your order, please contact me on maddy@abohemianlife.com asap and I will do my utmost to assist.
GIFT WRAPPING & PACKAGING
~ I’ll love to help you brighten someone’s day with gift wrapping. Each bag is wrapped individually in tissue wrap which is then gift wrapped in brown paper and tied around with jute twine.
~ A card is also included in the gift wrapping with the option to include a personalised message handwritten on your behalf. If you wish to include a letter or longer note, I’ll be delighted to print it on a lovely stationery and include within the card too.
~ If you have any particular gift wrapping request to make it extra special, please do not hesitate to direct message me beforehand and I will do my best to accommodate.
~ Oh, and don’t worry, no invoice or receipt is included in gift wrapped orders.
